Nigerian Students’ Association of Kyungpook National University
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Nigerian Students’ Association of Kyungpook National University (NSA-KNU).
KNU is one of the top ten universities in Korea and hosts the largest number of Nigerian students in the Republic of Korea. NSA was founded in 2018 by seven patriotic Nigerians to foster a sense of unity and fraternal love among its members. The organisation was established to support members in improving their academic performance, overall well-being, and social life. It also serves as a platform for Nigerians with a genuine interest in studying in South Korea, particularly at KNU.
Over the past eight years, the organisation’s membership has grown from about seven students to more than twenty postgraduate students (MSc and PhD), ten postdoctoral researchers and research professors, as well as over forty alumni—many of whom are now working in reputable organisations. Some members are also accompanied by their families.
In the last five years, Nigerian students at KNU have authored or co-authored more than 200 articles published in reputable international journals, which is a remarkable academic achievement.
I am extremely honoured to serve as the Team Lead of an organisation filled with talented, intelligent, and promising individuals.
The NSA website provides useful information about studying in Korea, as well as updates on past, current, and upcoming events.
Long live the Nigerian Students’ Association (NSA).
Long live Kyungpook National University (KNU).
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Long live the Republic of Korea.
Signed,
Engr. Rahmon Abiodun SALAU
NSA President
